thanks to my brother who said that he didn`t want to leave Japan before he did his test so were staying here until next year!!!
Great now i have to stay here longer. Now for something brighter.
I have decided to learn the flute. Now if anyone has any good advice please tell me i have no idea how and where to start, should i get a teacher or should i learn on my own.

but anyway, youll definitely need a teacher to start off with becasue otherwise you probably wont be able to make a sound properly...
have you bought a flute yet? i reckon the yamaha student models are pretty good and they arent that expensive... but if you have the money get altus/gemeinhardt, theyre meant to be really good. |

What test is this? Is it like, the Japanese HSC or what?
Anyway, the flute is awesome and let NO ONE tell you that it's a girly instrument. (although i myself prefer *people* who play the piano, organ and/or the violin/viola/cello).
If you're a beginner, you should DEFINITELY have a teacher, or else you'll get nowhere. You can't hope to learn it on your own! Even if you're advanced it's best to have a teacher.
